Class 151

Class 151 was the private industry response to BREL's Class 150 prototype. Much admired by enthusiasts, it had a short working life around the Derby area before a long period of storage then disposal. The body was fabricated from Aluminium. Initially numbered 151001-2 the two units were later renumbered 151003-4 to avoid confusion with 150001-2. At times the centre car was ommitted and they ran as two-car units.
